Finished Goods are items bought from the supplier and then sold to the customer.  In addition, Finished Goods are items prepared in batches at the restaurant and sold as finished goods.

To add a finished good:

Step 1: Visit Setup > Inventory Setup > Finished Goods.
Step 2: Click the Add Finished Good button.
Step 3: Search for the menu item to add as a finished good in the search field and select the item.
Step 4: Enter the Measurement unit i.e. the unit in which you sell the finished good to your customers and the Buying Unit i.e. the supplier packing unit. If the Buying Unit has a sub unit, then select the checkbox and enter the Buying Sub Unit. Enter the Net Weight i.e. the weight of the actual goods or drained weight.
Step 5: Enter the Opening Balance of the ingredient i.e. your current stock on hand.
Step 6: Enter the Reorder Level i.e. the quantity below which this ingredient is low on stock and you would need to raise a purchase order to your supplier.
Step 7: Select the Track Inventory checkbox to ensure that the inventory for this item is tracked at your location.
Step 8: Click Save.
