To add a tax rate:

Step 1: Visit Setup > Location Setup.
Step 2: Select the location at which you want to add a tax rate.
Step 3: Click on Menu Management > Tax Rates.
Step 4: Ensure the Tax Rate For Item toggle bar is ON.
Step 5: Click Add Tax Rate and fill out the tax details. You can also set this tax as the default by ticking Set as Default. Click Save. 
Step 6: A pop-up will appear to ask if you want to apply this tax rate to all items in this location. If you wish to proceed, click Yes.
Step 7: Return to Setup > Menu Setup, and click Refresh POS and Online Menu! to sync changes.

If the menu is linked to Sapaad.Online:

Step 1: Update settings under Setup > Sapaad Add-Ons > Sapaad.Online Settings.
Step 2: Go to the Synchronize tab and click on Save to update your changes.
